Match Report
Against the run of play, Wrexham salvaged a point at Cae Clyd after managing to capitalise on some poor defensive play by the home side. With Blaenau channeling most of their play through star right-winger David Todd, Wrexham's tactic of placing two defenders on him at all times proved decisive.
Charlie Hughes in the Colts goal gave a fine display, while Derek Tuner was outstanding for Ffestiniog. The scorers were Turner and Todd for Blaenau, and Ray Wilkins (2) for Wrexham.
